The curriculum of SFAEIS is based on the syllabus from Ministry of Education (MOE) in compliance with the AEIS procedures which comprises of English and Mathematics. Primary and Secondary students will be focusing more on the English and Mathematics as it’s the main component.

Additional subjects are included in the Primary Programme such as Arts (Visual/ Performing), Character Education, Physical Education, Health Education, Technology, Humanities, Culture & Moral and Mother Tongue languages. (Tamil, Hindi, Malay and Chinese)

International students seeking admission to SFAEIS should note that English is the medium of instruction and are strongly encouraged to prepare before sitting for the Assessment.

The curriculum equips students with knowledge skills which seeks to develop student’s thinking, process, and communication skills.

Assessment is a procedure for prospective students to take before enrolling. It will consist of English and Maths questions, literacy and some other general questions, following an interview. The Assessment is not graded but it is mandatory as it plays an important role in the process of learning and motivation.

From the Assessment, students and their parents will be advised accordingly on the level of the student’s academic proficiency. The assessment help to identify any weaknesses especially any gaps in learning or missed out on concepts due to the different syllabus learnt of unfamiliar with our system of education.

Students who missed our Terms will have to attend our Bridging Programme. This will help to cover the gaps in the learning and to prepare the student on the coming terms work. As the learning is progressive, it will help to build up on the foundation of the subjects.
